Our Story

                           Simple Beginnings and a Love For Natural:

  I was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico a state I love, after moving to Arizona I began back in the late 1970' making my own products.  I have always been drawn to natural and holistic ways of living based on herbal alternatives, natural chemical free products and foods grown by local farmers.  In the early 80'S you were considered a "Hippie" or "Health Nut" for using natural products and shopping in Health Food Stores (few and far between). My Mom and I would make such things as a poultice with herbs, hair rinses, natural hair colors, body powders we tried and made it all.  Thus the beginning of my love for handcrafted products and soaps.

  My Mother and I would turn to herbs as much as possible to help assist in healing and to improve and maintain our health.  It was at that time people I knew began asking me to make products for them.  I began making ointments for such things as cuts, rashes or in some cases tattoos.  My love and passion for natural products encouraged me to experiment with many different things, using herbs and essential oils, pure vegetable based oils and different formulations.

  Today we strive to make the most natural products possible still using herbs and essential oils.  We used to make a lot of our soaps with fragrance oils (the FDA will tell you they are safe) but today we only have 3 soaps that have fragrance oil in them.  We will soon be phasing them out.  I will not use parabens, petroleum products or by products, synthetic dyes or colors in my lotions, ointments, bath salts and animal products.  Soaps and personal care products are made with natural ingredients.  Our lotions because they are natural in nature will have a self life of 4-6 months on your counter or up to 1 year in the fridge.  When you read that newborn babies have hundreds of chemicals in them at birth why would you want a chemical based product.

  I have come a long way since the 1970'S but I am still committed to making, using and selling natural products.  I use herbs and essential oils on family, livestock and pets within our home.  I believe chemicals are destroying us and our land.  I want the best for my family and that is why I want to provide the best for your family, pets and livestock.
