Holistic Aromatherapy is also called Clinical Aromatherapy. Clinical Aromatherapy is defined as: "Advanced training in the use of Pure Essential Oils for Therapeutic purpose with a measurable outcome". A Clinical Aromatherapist not only studies contra-indications of essential oils but application methods, conditions of body, mind and emotions. Working with individuals through a thorough assessment to determine conditions and the proper therapy to assist the client. We prefer to use the term Holistic Aromatherapist or Aromatherapy.
Clinical aromatherapy:
Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant-derived, aromatic essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being. It is sometimes used in combination with massage and other therapeutic techniques as part of a holistic treatment approach. For definition of Clinical Aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy is a complimentary modality and is in no way to be used to diagnose, treat or cure any disease. The use of essential oils are used to compliment and assist in the balance of the body, mind and emotions. Aromatherapy sessions begin with a complete assessment on all levels. This includes Mental, Spiritual, Emotional and Physical complaints. Customized blends are made reflecting the needs of the client. Time is spent talking with the client to determine the conditions or conditions that need to be addressed first. A follow up session is usually scheduled 2 weeks after initial session. It is advised that if you are under a Doctor's care, that you seek his approval before starting any new modality.
Clinical/Holistic Aromatherapy works with the complete individual on all levels. Including Body with physical discomforts, Mind, Emotions and Spiritual conditions. A person cannot find complete balance without the unity of all. Many essential oils have the ability to aid the physical, yet calm and comfort the mental and emotions, as well as bring peace within the Spiritual part of a being. It is well known that essential oils work with profound results for emotional health and well-being. Sessions can be completed via email or in person.
Please contact us should you have any questions.
