![]() Spring is such a wonderful time of year. A time for renewal, plants blooming, buds on trees, eliminating the old to receive the new and yes those pesky little critters. It is a time for cleansing, not only our homes but ourselves as well - body, mind and spirit. Spring reminds me of a time we feel energized, excited and ready to be outside. Aroma from plants plays a huge role for most of us, the smell of newly mowed grass may remind us of our childhood in the country, rose that has bloomed may remind us of our grandmother. The aroma of lemon and lemongrass uplift our spirits and make us smile. It is for this reason I wanted to make an all purpose, multipurpose spring spray. I did not want to have 3 or 4 different products I had to reach for. A multipurpose spray for me should be one that is: safe around my home, chemical free, has many uses, safe with pets and children around. I also wanted a spray that made me smile, was uplifting and yet worked on many levels. This is a spray that is simple to make and easy to use. Here are some ways I use my Multipurpose Spring Spray. I find I reach for this spray for just about everything. Household Cleaning:: I use this spray to clean my tile and wood floors, counter tops, shower and tub, add 1 oz to your washing machine, trash cans, cutting boards, stainless steel and so much more. Insect Repellent: I spray this around my doors and windows, on the gravel outside my home to reduce ants etc. On screens to keep the flies away. Cracks and cervices around the stucco of my home. You can also spray any areas where wasps or bees want to try and make a home. Pets: I have 2 wonderful dogs but both are somewhat food aggressive. The little older dog was kind enough to teach the larger younger dog how to be this way. So when we BBQ outdoors there are times when the juice drips on the concrete around the BBQ grill. To prevent either dog from thinking "there must be food somewhere" and preventing a possible fight, I will spray the concrete to eliminate the odor. Works like a charm. Using the spray around the grill will also help to eliminate ants or flies from hanging around. I will also spray the dog beds to prevent fleas. It can be sprayed in stables or stalls to reduce flies, spray around the dirt to prevent Ferrel cats from making your place a litter box, s[ray to eliminate the scent of other animals.
